Seals

Use these round pin and socket terminals, housings, and seals to make connections that can handle harsh environments. Each connection requires a male and female terminal, a seal for each terminal, and a pin and socket housing.

Select terminals that match your wire size. All terminals work with all housings, regardless of wire size. Terminals require two crimps (terminal to wire strands, terminal to seal and wire insulation). A proper crimping tool is required. For heavier usage, use a tool that performs both crimps at the same time, such as #12014254 for 22-14 gauge. For 12 gauge use the standard two crimp tool #12085270. For less frequent crimping, we recommend our Pack Tool. For production, use 528-KIT for 22-18 gauge and the 476-KIT for 16-12 gauge. terminal removal tool #T-3.

Select a seal that matches your wire size.

Now select a housing that offers the number of connections you would like to make.

Use the cavity plugs when you have an extra circuit in your housing that is not in use. It prevents corrosion from entering the electrical connection.

Weather Pack, Metri-Pack, Micro-Pack, Pack-Con, and 56-58 Series terminals often require different crimping tools. The more you know about what will be crimped, the easier it is to find a tool. The ratchet style design allows you to make easier crimps with less effort.
Use a quick single motion tool that crimps both the terminal and seal in one motion, rather than two, for higher volumes.
The standard two crimp tools crimp in two separate motions. One motion to crimp the terminal and one motion to crimp the seal.
