Insulated
Connects two wires together. Insert wires on each end until they reach the built-in wire stop in the center. Two crimps are required, one for each wire. Compact splices, also known as parallel splices, are 25-50% shorter than standard butt splices. Wires lie side by side within the terminal to save space and installation time. The vinyl insulation prevents incidental metal to metal contact that can cause shorts. The nylon insulation provides greater durability. It also allows you to see the wires in the splice to ensure a proper crimp. The heavy duty butt splices have extra thick walls for the most demanding applications. They are also extra long so you can double crimp for a better electrical connection.

For use in harsh environments. These terminals feature a heat-shrink connection that also has an internal sealant. After crimping the terminal onto the wire, simply apply heat.
The heavy duty heat-shrink jacket makes it difficult to cut into these heat-shrink terminals during the crimping process, a common problem with basic heat-shrink terminals.
Use the grease filled terminals for sensitive environments where heat tools are restricted.
The cool seal terminals gel is activated when the wire is inserted for a heat shrink like result, but requiring no heat. Simply strip, insert and crimp.
Solder splices have a transparent sleeve for simple installation and inspection. They have an open barrel with flux solder and an adhesive lined heat-shrink sleeve.
The solder and crimp butt splices are the most secure connection available. Requires one crimp on each end plus heat.
